Adversity is something Annabel is used to dealing with while growing up as a teen without her biological mother after a terrible accident claimed her life. On top of this, the stigma of being mute, treated with ridicule and scorn from all the faculty and students. Then she discovers a dark antique enchanted mirror which unlocks strange powers which she uses to communicate telepathically.

But as she discovers other spiritual gifts, more people, like her biological father, develop an ambition to use them as a key in his war against the ruthless world-dominating organization called Suncrest. Now Annabel’s path treads on a razor’s edge, with dark ambitions on either side tugging at her. A course which may thrust her down the path to certain destruction.
